Problem:

Microsoft Outlook Error:

"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or your system administrator."

Possible resolution(s):


Outlook is trying to create an .OST file and it can't 

1) Check where is LocalAppData redirected and folder permissions of that location... (...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook)

2) Check this registry location for errors: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\1*.0\Outlook

    • Verify that "ForceOSTPath" data has a valid and accessible path
    • Verify that "ForcePSTPath" data has a valid and accessible path
