When Logging in to ProfileUnity console, some users receive "User was denied access"

When trying to login to ProfileUnity Console I receive an Error:

"User was denied access"




Possible Resolution(s):

This is known defect. Please follow instructions below to resolve your issue.

Option A.

  1. Stop "ProfileUnity Web Service API"
  2. Backup "ProfileUntiy.WindowsManagement.dll" found in "C:\Program Files\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity.NET"
  3. Copy attached (to this KB) file to "C:\Program Files\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity.NET"
  4. Start "ProfileUnity Web Service API"

Option B.

Upgrade ProfileUnity to newest version of ProfileUnity (5.7 Update 1) when it becomes available. Please check release notes.
