Problem:

When users open Adobe Acrobat for the first time, the Adobe license agreement appears.

Possible Resolution(s):

Insert the following registry key using ProfileUnity to disable this pop-up:

  1. Open the ProfileUnity console.
  2. Go to 'Configuration Management' and edit the configuration.
  3. Go to the Registry module and add the following rule:

For 32-bit VMs:

Filter: (select your filter or leave on 'No Filter')
Action: Add Value
Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Adobe\Viewer
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: EULAAcceptedForBrowser
Data: 1
Description: (Whatever name you prefer)

For 64-bit VMs:

Filter: (select your filter or leave on 'No Filter')
Action: Add Value
Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: Software\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\Adobe\Viewer
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: EULAAcceptedForBrowser
Data: 1
Description: (Whatever name you prefer)

Note: The example above applies for Adobe Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro 11 ('XI'). For version 10 ('X'), substitute '10.0' in the registry key values above.

4. Click Save, then Update. Download the new ProfileUnity configuration .ini file to the \netlogon\ProfileUnity directory.
