Explorer.exe crashes after logon. Oracle RightNow CX Cloud Service client is installed on the VM.



The following crash message appears:



Possible Resolution(s):

The local application data folder is most likely redirected to a UNC path. Example: \\server\share\%username%\AppData\Local.

The solution is to redirect the Local Application Data folder to a mapped drive instead of a UNC path.

Step 1) Create Drive mapping. Example: L to \\server\share\%username%\AppData

Note: Uncheck 'Process Action After Login'.

Step 2) Redirect Local AppData. Example: L:\Roaming

Note: For consistency, redirect Application Data to: L:\Roaming.
