VHD fails to mount. Error: No new disks detected to mount.

VHD is failing to mount on user's desktop. Thus delaying user's login. 



From VHD log found in %temp%

[vhd.784, 05/06/2015 10:32:12.321 AM; Error]: No new disks detected to mount. 
[vhd.784, 05/06/2015 10:32:12.321 AM; Error]: Failed to locate VHD volumes to mount.

VHD data corruption. 


Possible Resolution:

If there is a Firewall/IPS device between the desktops and location where VHD's are created make sure that the Firewall/IPS is not dropping packets to the VHD's.
