Problem:

DIA-When removing items from a package during capture or post capture causes no packages to playback

Symptoms:

If you remove a shortcut on the desktop a $RECYCLE.BIN will get created on the target disk and when playing back on the desktop the player command will be told to playback from the recycle bin folder.

When browsing to:

C:\FlexAppDIA-Temp\VHDMounts\...

Example:

DIARecycleBin.png

 When Debug is enabled, the lwl_userapp_player log (Located in c:\) shows this (incorrect) message:

Example:

[lwl_userapp_player.9540, 11/18/2015 12:12:27.490 PM; Debug]: Cap directory path given: C:\FlexAppDIA-Temp\VHDMounts\4F864388-3C9C-4414-AD62-AB323A32CB68\2\$RECYCLE.BIN

'Possible Resolution(s):

Opt 1) Do not remove the shortcut during capture.  You could post capture mount the vmdk or vhd to a vm and navigate to all users desktop and remove from there and then unmount the vmdk/vhd.

Opt 2) To fix the broken package. Logoff. Manually mount the application VHD and (Shift) Delete the $RECYCLE.BIN folder from the VHD. Detach the VHD. From now the application should play back ok.

Note: This defect will be addressed in future release of ProfileUnity.
