Problem:

PCoIP metrics are not showing up in Stratusphere;  i.e .Advanced, Remote Display tab - no data was returned and you don't see the PCoIP counters in Perfmon listed like below:

Possible Resolution(s):

In Unidesk it is listed in the View Agent layer but gets stripped out once the layer is integrated with the windows OS layer.  In AWS, the counters have a similar issue with not being available on the deployed VDI machines and both situations can be resolved with the below information.

Run the following command via psexec or script with login script:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\Teradici PCoIP Server\pcoip_perf_installer.exe" /s "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\Teradici PCoIP Server\pcoip_perf_provider32.dll"

Example PSExec command to repair the counters to all running 32-bit machines listed in machines.txt:

psexec -s -d @machines.txt "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\Teradici PCoIP Server\pcoip_perf_installer.exe" /s "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VMware\Teradici PCoIP Server\pcoip_perf_provider32.dll"

NOTE:  This is for 32bit, hence the "***_provider32.dll" file. For 64bit you will have the number 64 on the dll file name.

*** NOTE:  For this to work on future deployments, you need to make sure to execute this command within the View Agent layer itself.  If you know the CID layer will always play back AFTER the View Agent layer, then you can delete the existing CID layer, create a new one, run this command, then install the CID in the new layer and you should be set there as well.  The only other option is to integrate the View Agent in the OS layer, making sure to follow it up with this command for good measure.  This command ONLY works AFTER the View Agent has been installed/played back, otherwise the command does not exist.
