Problem:

tntgrd.exe process is using about 40 -50% of the processor on our windows 7 VDI for about the first 3-4 minutes.

Symptoms:

Connector ID is set to collect file and folder counts and sizes

Possible Resolution:

Connector ID is collecting too much unnecessary information from VDI

Go to: Hub Administration>Connector ID Keys> Connector ID Key Properites

In "Enable Machine Inspection" section verify:

Is it necessary to collect file and folder counts and sizes?

If yes, do any directories listed need to be scanned each time user logs in?

Any system folders that could be removed from the list?

After making changes save settings.

Note: It might take few hours for the changes to propagate through the system and actually reflect in VDI enviroment.
