Flex-IO Console's webpage is not accessible

The FlexDiskService.log is showing this error message:

"Creating new self-signed certificate to use for SSL communication. Place a valid X509 Certificate here to use your own: C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\Flex-IO\Certificates"

"Certificate for distinguished name already present. Skipping installation into the local machine personal store."

Possible Resolution(s):

The assigned domain certificate is not read in correctly by our installer.

The fix is available following those steps.

  • Stop Flex-IO service
  • Open Certificates mmc (Go to Start Run, "mmc" >File>Add/Remove Snapin>Certificates>Add>Computer account>Local Computer)
  • Open Certificates/Personal/Certificates
  • Double click certificate issued by domain controller to the local machine (Issued To: <>)
  • Select "Details" Tab
  • Copy out the ‘thumbprint’ remove the spaces and use it in the command below.

Open CMD as administrator

Run this command using the thumbprint in the certhash section:

netsh http add sslcert ipport= certhash=‎<thumbprint codes here without spaces>  appid={00112233-4455-6677-8899-AABBCCDDEEFF}

  • Start Flex-IO service.
