FlexApp DIA Error: The process cannot access the file

Problem:

While activating a packaged application the activation process stops with an error shown below (see symptoms).

Also FlexApp Packages do not show up on the desktops.

 

Symptoms:

Error: The process cannot access the file "PackageName" because it is being used by another process.

The active package process was not completed successfully because of an error.

 

Resolution:

 

Please attempt to restart your FlexApp Packaging console. It is likely that the domain relationship to your FlexApp VM has been lost.

To regain your domain relationship please connect your VM to a workgroup and reconnect it to the domain. To avoid further domain-relationship-disconnect issues  add/change the following registry key (to 1).

 

   Key     = HLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetLogon\Parameters

   Value   = DisablePasswordChange REG_DWORD 1

 

Please take a snapshot in needed. With the registry change it ca be used to revert back the VM for testing the applications on the packager without loosing a domain relationship.
