Problem:

Package Import Failed, The virtual disk can not be converted. Exit code 158. Message was the segment is already unlocked.

Description:

Attempting to import older version of FlexApps packages to ProfileUnity 6.8.6

Resolution:

Steps to be performed on FPC:

Mapp network drive to where old packages reside

Open FPC 6.8.6 in Offline Packaging Mode

(How to use the FlexApp Packaging Console in Offline Packaging Mode – Liquidware Customer Support (zendesk.com)

Select Import FlexApp option.

Browse to folder containing copy of old 6.8.4 FlexApps (Import)

Console will successfully convert the packages from .vhd to vhdx format.

Now the packages can be imported to 6.8.6 PU console.
