Possible Resolution(s):

On the master image please edit those files:

  • C:\Program Files\ProfileUnity\FlexApp\ContainterService\x64\VirtFsService.exe.config
  • C:\Program Files\ProfileUnity\FlexApp\ContainterService\x86\VirtFsService.exe.config

Remove these two lines from "CloakRoots" section of configuration file:

<string>\REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall</string>
<string>\REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall</string>

Save the file.

Lines to delete:

Recompose the pool. If there is no ProfileUnity on the master image than modify those files to remove lines listed above:

  • \\domain.com\NETLOGON\LM-ProfileUnity6\flexapp.zip\ContainerService\x64\VirtFsService.exe.config
  • \\domain.com\NETLOGON\LM-ProfileUnity6\flexapp.zip\ContainerService\x86\VirtFsService.exe.config

Note: This fix will be rolled in to next version of ProfileUnity (6.7.5)
