The ProfileUnity Splash Screen Exits After Initializing on Non-English Clients

Problem:

On a non-English OS clients the ProfileUnity client exists after initializing and does not process any modules.

Symptoms:

The behavior is similar to the behavior seen when the licensed group cannot be read from AD.

Possible Resolution(s):

There will need to be a  registry entry added to your GPO.

  • Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  • Key Path: Software\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity
  • Value name: DisableFeature
  • Value type: REG_SZ
  • Value data: 68719476736
