Anti Virus software on ProfileUnity console might cause it to stop processing licensing requests.

My ProfileUnity console was processing licenses and now the list of licensed users is incomplete. No new users's licenses are showing on ProfileUnity server's licensing page. Also users are receiving message: "No ProfileUnity License Server defined. Please contact your system administrator. "




1) Restart ProfileUnity Server (Windows Server Reboot)

2) Please add following directories and processes to the exclusion list of Anti Virus installed on the ProfieUnity console server(s):

Exclude these directories from active monitoring:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity
  • C:\Program Files\erl9.1
  • C:\Program Files\MongoDB
  • C:\Program Files\RabbitMQ Server

(Optional) List of Processes to exclude from active monitoring:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity\FlexDisk\FlexDiskService.exe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity\ProfileUnity.Host.exe
  • C:\Program Files\erl9.1\erts-9.1\bin\erl.exe
  • C:\Program Files\erl9.1\erts-9.1\bin\erlsrv.exe
  • C:\Program Files\erl9.1\erts-9.1\bin\epmd.exe
  • C:\Program Files\erl9.1\erts-9.1\bin\inet_gethost.exe
  • C:\Program Files\erl9.1\lib\os_mon-2.4.3\priv\bin\win32sysinfo.exe
